Our Help

Social services at UPI are provided by or under the direct supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Counseling, crisis intervention and long term therapeutic counseling are provided, as well as educational workshops on nutrition, health, mental health, social welfare, legal issues, budgeting, finance, and parenting skills.

For more than 37 years, United Progress, Inc. (UPI) has been working to alleviate poverty and empower low-income and working poor families living in the City of Trenton and Mercer County. UPI started the Henry J. Austin Health Center, Trenton Head Start Program and the first alcoholism treatment program in the City of Trenton.

Community Organization and Outreach

UPI collaborates with other community groups, organizations and government agencies to develop programs that empower neighborhoods and facilitate community involvement. Community needs assessment, technical assistance, cultural awareness and sensitivity workshops are just a few of UPI's community outreach activities

Has been a community service agency since 1964.
Trenton Treatment Center (TTC) is a subsidiary of UPI TTC offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Outpatient Program (OP) for those looking to recover from addiction; we accept referrals from many community resources and also accept uninsured and under insured Mercer County residents.
